Terms of service

Each book is a digital download (PDF, ePub and HTML, plus the files listed on its page). A book is for sale only when its page shows a buy button. Prices are in US dollars, plus any sales tax or VAT. Our online store is run by a reseller, which sells the books to you under its own buyer terms shown at checkout. Updates within the same major version are free.

A purchase lets one person read and use the book on their own devices. Do not share, resell or publish the files. For a team licence, email us. The example code is a separate public repository under the MIT license.

Test any code or advice in your own environment before relying on it. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses from applying it.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or other consumer laws that apply to you. These terms are governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia.
